Mike McCurdy

Mr. McCurdy supports lenders, developers, and select government Clients in the financing, sale, and purchase of conventional and renewable chemical and fuel assets both in the U.S. and internationally. As an MBA educated, licensed, professional engineer with 27 years of industry experience, Mr. McCurdy has served as both a lenders engineer and market consultant providing technical and economic reviews for the equity, debt, mezz-debt, bond and institutional financing of more than 70 emerging and established technology projects, monitoring of construction and performance testing, and technical support for non-standard lending events such as debtor-in-possession financing and workout situations.

In addition to his technical and market project finance duties, Mr. McCurdy is a key contributor to ICF’s SAF strategy efforts for airlines providing market and technical assistance for strategic sourcing efforts to develop multi-tiered strategies for the long-term sourcing of SAF, assisting airlines with offtake contract negotiations, and monetization of additional value via SAF certificates.  As an adjunct to his work with ICF, Mr. McCurdy is currently lending his expertise to the United Nations Expert Group on Resource Management as Co-Chair of the Renewable Energy Working Group and Bioenergy Sub-Group for the classification and estimation of renewable energy reserves.
