Vice President of Corporate Affairs & Marketing, LanzaJetÂ
Meg Whitty started working in biofuels nearly 17 years ago at the United States Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C., helping farmers and rural small businesses who were looking to new market opportunities with biofuels to get access to federal dollars to support the growth of a new and emerging industry.
From there, she went on to United Airlines where she helped launch a Midwest Aviation Sustainable Biofuels Initiative, created to tackle the complexities across the value chain of building a new industry for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Since then, Whitty has worked in various leadership roles at start-up and high-growth technology companies across strategy, innovation, marketing, business development and operations.
Whitty holds a master’s in business administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s in government from Georgetown University.
She lives in her hometown of Des Moines, Iowa with her husband and their two young children.
