Agronomy Department at Iowa State University

Marshall McDaniel is an assistant professor in soil-plant interactions in the Agronomy Department at Iowa State University.  Marshall teaches a junior-senior level soil fertility class; a graduate class in soil-plant interactions; and an agricultural travel class that travels to Argentina, Spain, and Australia.  His research team seeks to understand how soils and plants are affected by management and the environment.  They use this understanding, under the framework of soil health, to make agriculture more regenerative and sustainable.
