Jeff Meyer focuses on electric vehicles and global oil markets in his current capacity with S&P Global. He is the primary author of the bi-annual “Zero emission vehicle (ZEV) Watch” report. He has also been the primary author of a number of strategic reports including: “Haves and have nots: EVs, home charging and consumer acceptance;” “Approaching an undulating plateau: World oil demand to 2035;” “Peak oil demand in mainland China: Is it almost here?;” and “Fleet renewal: Answering the questions about EVs and oil demand displacement.”
Meyer joined S&P Global in 2010 as a research assistant to Vice Chairman Daniel Yergin for his book “The Quest: Energy, Security, and the Remaking of the Modern World.” He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Haverford College, and master’s degrees from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and New York University.
